A Short History

1999-2004 Idrawfast International (IDF) establishes itself as the leading Architectural Modelling company in Australia with offices Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne and Chengdu, China.

2004 First office opened in the UK
2005 Office opened in Ireland and 2nd office in the UK
2006 Office opened in France, UAE, 3rd Office in the UK
2007 Offices open in New Zealand and the USA
2008 Idrawfast Ireland becomes VIZIT and becomes an Idrawfast Agent

IDF’s strength is in its quality and service. Its studio’s, which are wholly owned by IDF, are centralized to achieve optimum cost and capacity. Using state of the art equipment, any jobs of any size can generally be started immediately and sufficient resources can be committed to ensure agreed delivery targets are achieved.

  • Physical Models (approx 120 people). The modelshop which is over 2,000 sqm includes a state of the art paint shop and modern CNC workshop where all the component parts are cut from the architects CADs.
    In 2006 the model shop built a 7m x 7m model in 8 weeks !
  • Computer Generated Images and Animation (approx. 100 people). Such is the commitment to setting the industry standard, IDF purchased the hardware used for both ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘King Kong’.
  • Signs. VIZIT, in partnership with a local sign manufacturer, is now offering a full sign service. We can design, supply and install any form of signage requirement.

As a one-stop-shop, workload on our customers is reduced. A single point of contact means not having to communicate with multiple suppliers and frequently results in lower unit cost as economies of scale come into play.
