COMPUTER GENERATED IMAGES - BLOCK MODELS
- Block models or ‘monopoly style’ are a great way to show large scale developments. They have a number of advantages over fully detailed models:
- block modelling involves less work so block model perspectives cost less colour coding makes different types of buildings easier to identify different versions can easily be created i.e. one version might show breakdown by house type another version could show phases. At a conceptual or design stage block models may be the only designs available
